The Church Has Left The Building will be an incredible day in the life of Central. On Sunday, October 15, in lieu of our normal Sunday service and Sunday school classes, we will be serving our community. So gather your family or friends, or small group and sign up to take part in this outreach day. There are a two ways you can get involved: Big Projects or Double Dog Dare Projects. Childcare is offered for children birth through Kinder. Click here for more information on childcare.
For Central Members wanting to work on a large scale mission project, select one of the Big Projects scheduled for CHLB. Intended participants on Big Projects are Central members that may or may not be currently associated with a small group at Central. Big Projects afford these members an opportunity to meet other Central members and share local mission work.
Types of Projects
Fall Festival, Sunday Meals on Wheels lunch, Ga-Ga Pit Install, Small Church Facelift, Senior Citizen Sunday Service and Craft, Local Mission Service, Home Repair Projects, Habitat for Humanity Wall Build, Community Vegetable Garden, etc.
Do you know of a church member who would benefit from a team coming to serve them on October 15th? Submit their need on our Small Project Submission form for approval.
Double Dog Dare (DDD) Projects are projects that are nominated and completed by self-identified groups within Central. For example, co-workers, families, friends, common interest groups, focus groups, Sunday school classes, Face-to-Face Small Groups all can nominate a project for their own CHLB Project. Project scope should generally not exceed $400 and no more than 4 hours work time.
Types of Projects.
